Process
Modeling Texturing Set Dressing

The man in the middle directs a group of blue whales to parade in the sky, and the background is mainly based on the dreamy sky city.

The material is snow and some fog and white clouds are added to create the icy atmosphere of the scene. The man's animation uses motion capture and is brought into Unreal Engine to adjust the movements.

I sculpted the whale details in Blender, then rigged the model and created a simple looping animation before importing it into UE5. The character animation was produced using motion capture data.

I used Blender for rigging.

Since the whale and the castle were quite far from the camera, I used Substance 3D Painter to roughly paint their base textures.

I brought all the assets into Unreal for set dressing.

Finally, I used some alpha maps to add some clouds and mist, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
